Overview

Job Description

Hillside Medical Lodge, a Foursquare Healthcare facility in Gatesville, TX, is actively hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This role operates on a 12-hour shift schedule (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) with every other weekend off. You will support residents with daily mobility, monitor vital signs on the floor, and collaborate directly with our nursing staff. Please note that Foursquare Healthcare facilities utilize NetHealth as the primary documentation software for daily charting and therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses

  • Assist residents with daily tasks including bathing and dressing

  • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure

  • Assist with safe mobility and patient transfers

  • Help residents maintain proper nutrition and hydration

  • Document changes in patient conditions and report them to the attending nursing staff

  • Maintain a clean environment and follow facility infection control protocols

Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Texas

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

  • Prior experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing setting preferred

  • Physical stamina to assist with lifting and positioning residents
